Warranty Terms & Conditions

1. Warranty Coverage

Wilson Auto Parts will repair or replace any product that does not perform to specification during the warranty period, which includes:

  • The 3-month Standard Warranty, and/or
  • Any applicable Extended Warranty, starting from the delivery date.

If proof of delivery is unavailable, delivery will be deemed to have occurred 3 business days after dispatch.

2. Additional Rights

Warranty benefits are provided in addition to your rights under applicable US consumer protection laws.

3. Proof of Purchase

To make a warranty claim, you must provide an invoice or confirmation of a paid order.

4. Troubleshooting

Customers are required to follow all troubleshooting steps and instructions given by Wilson Auto Parts staff.

5. Faulty on Arrival

If an item arrives damaged, photographic evidence must be supplied before repair or replacement can be approved.

6. Repair or Replacement

Wilson Auto Parts may, at its discretion:

  • Repair the product, or
  • Replace it with the same or an equivalent product.

Replacement items may differ in size or specification. A replacement does not extend or restart the original warranty period.

7. If the Product Cannot Be Repaired or Replaced

If a repair or replacement is not feasible, Wilson Auto Parts may offer:

  • Store credit, or
  • A refund (excluding any delivery costs).

8. Transport for Warranty Claims

If authorized, Wilson Auto Parts will:

  • Arrange courier pickup, and
  • Cover transport costs within the United States.

Customers outside the US may be required to return products to a repair center within the US.

9. Repair Center Location

Wilson Auto Parts will determine the appropriate authorized repair location.

10. Risk During Transport

Products are at the customer’s risk during transit to and from the repair center.

11. No-Fault-Found Claims

If a returned product is found to be in working order, Wilson Auto Parts may charge a service fee.

12. Performance Assessment

Wilson Auto Parts will reasonably determine whether the product meets its specifications.

13. Warranty Transfer

Warranties are transferable to a new owner if Wilson Auto Parts is notified within 7 days of the transfer.

14. Extended Warranty Purchase Window

Extended Warranties may be purchased up to 14 days after delivery.

15. Effect of Extended Warranty

If purchased, the Extended Warranty supersedes the standard 3-month warranty period.

16. Warranty Termination

Wilson Auto Parts may cancel an Extended Warranty if the product is used outside its recommended specifications. No pro-rata refund will be issued.

17. Warranty Exclusions

Warranties do not apply to products:

  • Used, installed, or maintained incorrectly
  • With altered or removed serial numbers
  • Damaged by misuse, accidents, fire, liquid, electrical issues, thunderstorms, or unauthorized repairs
  • Damaged in transit (unless otherwise specified in these terms)
  • Containing third-party components or software not originally included
  • When the failure is unrelated to product performance
  • That require replacement of consumable parts (e.g., batteries, lamps, cables)
  • That require software support beyond restoring factory settings
  • That have been serviced outside the United States

18. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Wilson Auto Parts is not liable for loss of data, programs, profits, revenue, or any indirect or consequential damages.
  • Total liability is limited to the purchase price or the replacement with a similar product.
  • All other warranties not required by law are excluded.

19. Governing Law

These warranty terms are governed by the laws of the State in which Wilson Auto Parts operates. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the relevant state and US federal courts.

20. Consumer Protection Statement

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under US consumer protection laws.

You are entitled to:

  • A replacement or refund for a major product failure
  • Compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage
  • Repair or replacement if products fail to meet acceptable quality and the failure is not major
